Lowestoft

Here we are, winding up the trip Jon took to come and visit merry 'ole England. Today, we went to the beach at Lowestoft.


For us, it was the perfect (if a bit windy) day ... overcast (go figure) enough to discourage a whole bunch of people. We took Gabby along, but unfortunately, she wasn't able to go on the beach ... if only we were 11 days earlier - it appears dogs are allowed during the winter months until May (rude).


Melissa and Austin enjoyed some surf time ... maybe a little too much because Austin got a mouthful of water and insisted on swishing it out!


We brought kites to fly (we did sing "let's go fly a kite" from Mary Poppins) ;) and Austin really enjoyed watching Melissa fly it. It was actually quite amusing to see her try to get the kite in the air! muah ha ha ha (evil laughter).
