I'm Back! :)
WOWZA! Looking at the last date, it's been about six months since I last blogged ... hmmm ... it looks as if Facebook has dominated my life! RUDE! I will be better at my blogging starting now - why, you ask? Well, seeing as only 5 people really look at this, I'll tell you why ... I feel less guilty about not writing in my journal. HA! So there! :)
Quick re-cap on events in the past six months ... that I remember, that is ....
- Went to Wisconsin for Grandma Suprise's funeral in early May
- Went to California (just me, Melissa and Austin) to stay with Pam and the cousins
- Gabby had 4 puppies - on my birthday! (this was a tragic day as well ... she had a puppy that didn't make it and I bawled like a BABY at the vet's)
- Carla came to visit for her birthday
- Went to my high school class reunion in Wisconsin ... it was the first one I have ever attended! Most of the old "group" were there ... HA! The picture of me and the head band is priceless!
- School started (Melissa is at a different high school this year - yeah! Austin is at the middle school - woop!)
- We don't have any more foster kids in the house (HOLLA!) :D
- I went to Salt Lake City with Carla to do some genealogy for a few days
- went to a Tea Party in Grand Forks
- Melissa now is legal to drive! YIKES
- Halloween in ND wasn't too cold this year! ;)
*NOTE* - Looking at the past months seems as if we have been busy, but our lives have really slowed down since we aren't fostering anymore! (sigh of relief) I believe that Austin mentioned that he doesn't want to have any foster brothers or sisters EVER again. It was hard, but we did it!

YEAH! I love the pictures of course, but will love them even more when you all take a road trip to Ohio :). Just say you're giving Melissa some more driving practice! And that "DANGER DO NOT APPROACH WILDLIFE" where is that? Outside your house? MUHAHAHAHAHA
P.S. did you see I'm an uncle now?? Won't meet the kid until December though!
